Karen has studied yoga for most of her adult life. Her fitness background is in classical ballet, where she studied at the University of New Mexico.
After turning 50, Karen decided to deepen her practice and to learn how to teach yoga to others. She believes that yoga can be started at any age and at any level of fitness. Karen’s primary interest in teaching yoga is to allow others to feel the joy, love and true happiness that can only come from within.
Karen moves her students through class the way she moves through her own life - with kindness, love, and compassion. She has been an adult educator for the past twenty five years and brings decades of knowledge on how to communicate and teach adult learners.
